Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data Logsitter collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Logsitter website, dashboard, and Vercel integration (together, the Service), operated by Logsitter (we, us, our).
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Vercel, we receive your Vercel user ID and basic profile details such as your name, username, email address, and avatar.
- Authorization tokens. When you connect your Vercel account, we store access tokens so we can list your projects and create log drains on your behalf. These are held securely and are never shared.
- Log data from Vercel. Vercel forwards your deployment logs to us through Log Drains. We do not store your raw logs. We process them in transit to detect errors and retain only a derived fingerprint of each issue, limited metadata (such as severity, status code, path, counts, and timestamps), one short sample message, and pointers (such as request and deployment IDs) that link back to the original log in Vercel.
- Configuration you provide. Slack webhook URLs, email addresses, and alert rules you set up so we know where and when to send alerts.
- Operational data. Basic logs and metrics needed to run and secure the Service.
How we use information
- To detect errors in your Vercel projects and deliver alerts.
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To communicate with you about your account and the Service.
- To protect against abuse and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
Sharing and subprocessors
We deliver alerts only to the destinations you configure, such as your Slack channel or email address. We rely on a small set of subprocessors to operate the Service, including our hosting and database providers and our email delivery provider. Each is bound by appropriate data protection terms.
Data retention and security
Issue data is retained while your project is active and according to your plan. You can delete a project or your account at any time, which removes the associated data. Data is stored with encryption at rest, and authorization tokens are kept server side.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at the address below.
